Reaching up to 475 mt above sea level, this abbey is located close to the summit of Monte Conero. Originally linked to the adjacent former monastery, the first record of the complex dates back to 1038.
This Romanesque-style building made of Conero white stone features a three-nave structure, a simple exterior decoration, and a bell tower that detaches from its right aisle.
The current facade of the church is the result of an 18th-century intervention, while the original Romanesque structure is still visible on the southern side and on the inside, where splendid capitals with figurative details are preserved.
