Located within the curtain walls, this theatre was built in 1873 using Conero white stone as a tribute to Cortesi Counts – feudal lords of Sirolo during the Middle Ages. The building features a horseshoe-shaped exhibition room, a gallery setting up two tiers of boxes, a decorated vault, and a crystal chandelier dangling from a rose window.
Each summer the theatre hosts a theatre festival culminating with the prestigious Franco Enriquez National Award.
